Mamta Mohandas is a south Indian film actress and playback singer who works mainly in the Malayalam film industry. She also appeared in the Tamil and Telugu language films. She has got nominated for many honorable film awards and won many of them. She is a cancer survivor. She is currently 35 (as of 2019). She got married in 2011 and got divorced after one year of married life in 2012. She is an excellent model as well and worked with many brands for ramp modeling and print ads. Her acting career started in the year of 2015 with the movie Mayookham. And immediately after that, she appeared in many films with all the superstars in the industry.

Career
Hariharan cast her in his movie Mayookham in 2005 to play the lead role. Mayookham was not a commercial success, but Mamta got the attention of the audience. In the next year 2006, she acted with all the superstars in the Malayalam film industry. She also did her Tamil debut in 2006. In the coming years, she showcased her acting skills in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages and became a popular heroine all over. From 2010 onwards she focused only in Malayalam film industry with one Telugu and Tamil film till the time.

Mamta was born and brought up in Bahrain. She completed her schoolings in Bahrain and moved to India for graduation. During her stay in India, she started her modeling career and at the completion of graduation, she secured her debut in the Malayalam film. In 2011 she got married to a Bahrain based businessman and got divorced in 2012. She is a cancer survivor and currently staying the Los Angels for her medical treatment.
