She is the wife of one of the popular and successful Malayalam film superstar, producer and comedian Dileep. They got married in 2016. She started her career as a child artist in 1991 when she was seven. Then she appeared in multiple projects before her debut as heroine in the movie Chandranudikkunna Dikhil in 1999. Dileep was her hero in that movie. After that, they paired in many projects and became one of the most popular pairings in the Malayalam film industry.
Personal Life
Kavya's first marriage did not last for a year. She went to Kuwait with her first husband after their marriage in 2009 but she returned home immediately in the same year itself proceeded with the mutual divorce. Later in 2016 she got married the superstar Dileep. They have a daughter named Mahalakshmi.
